Rob and fellow chefs were back in the town of Milton Keynes cooking up a storm for the Art in the Park Festival! The Art of Food at Art in the Park on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July which was compered by Chef Murray Chapman of A Passion to Inspire to educate and inspire young people about the hospitality industry. Students from Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge battled it out in a series of challenges testing their culinary capabilites to impress judges Rob Kennedy and Steve Wlapole. Rob and Steve gave fantastic demonstrations with visitors from far and wide to learn their skills and expertise. Art in the Park is a fantastic weekend of Food, Fun and Celebration of our diverse culture in Britain.
Norfolk Quail were sponsors of the Art of Food demonstrations, below is a photo of the dish Rob created using the Norfolk Quail's delicious and ethically farmed produce.
Protein: Roasted Norfolk Quail, lemon, thyme, garlic, and honey.
Garnish: Asparagus, peaches, almond biscuit, apple and celeriac remoulade, soft egg, purple shiso
Sauce: Carcase, carrot, onion, tomato, thyme, bay leaf, star anise, apple juice, redcurrant, tomato, chicken stock
